Empty Nesters Interest Group Activities
Adopt-a-Street – This group, comprised primarily of Empty Nesters, picks up trash on Alameda between McIntyre and Bear Creek on a quarterly basis. Contact Peg O’Keefe ([email protected]) for more information.
Book Club - This group meets on the first Friday of each month at 11:00 AM. For more information about the group, contact Cindy Licht ([email protected]).
Bunco Daytime Group – If anyone is interested in playing Bunco on the second Thursday of the month at 1:00 at the Retreat, please contact Alana Bissonnette ([email protected]).
Hikes – Organized by Jim Stephens ([email protected]).
Ladies’ Luncheons – Helene Thompson ([email protected], 720-328-6977) or Judy Larson ([email protected], 303-907-2576). All ladies on the Empty Nesters roster receive invitations to these luncheons.
Mahjong – Every Thursday at 1:30. New players are always welcome, no experience necessary…learn how to play the game. Contact Marlene Walker ([email protected]) for meeting locations.
Men’s Golf – Organized by Jim Sheffield ([email protected]).
Mixed 9-Hole Golf Group – Organized by Michele Ness ([email protected]) and John Hauser ([email protected]).
Women’s 18-Hole Golf Group – Organized by Michele Ness ([email protected]).

Many of our members are not frequent visitors on Facebook, do not want their pictures published, and only want the ability to view pictures of the events. If you want to browse pictures of the Empty Nester events or activities, just send in a request to join the group. Remember that any member may post relevant information or pictures for the group on this page.
